The Trinidad Fish Festival began as a $1 all-you-can-eat crab feed in 1957. This small town festival has fed thousands of people over the years. All festival workers are volunteer village folk. Event highlights include whitefish and salmon dinners, free live music, children’s activities, an arts & crafts street fair, Trinidad Head Lighthouse tours, and more! This Fundraiser supports our Chamber of Commerce, scholarship funds, and many other community programs. Bring the whole family, all are welcome!

TrinidadToClamBeach.com - "The Trinidad to Clam Beach Run began as a winter training race for Humboldt State Track and Field runners. Over the years, it has evolved into a nationally known run ... the unique feature of the run is crossing the mouth of the Little River at Moonstone Beach. Thus, the date and start time of the race are determined by the height of the tide on either the last Saturday of January or the first Saturday of February."
After forging the Little River, the final leg is on Clam Beach. At the finish line, the Humboldt State Marching Band and a huge bonfire awaits. After all that running, there's a Chili Feed back in town.
In addition to the Chamber sponsored Trinidad to Clam Beach Run, there's also the Humboldt Redwoods Marathon (October), and the Avenue of The Giants Marathon (May).
